MARCH:

  • Marquesas’ Inter-Island Games ~ Marquesas Islands
  • Austral Iner-Island Games ~ Austral Islands
  • Tahitian International Billfishing Tournament ~ Bora Bora 

APRIL:

  • “Heineken” Kayak Race ~ Huahine, Raiatea and Bora Bora 

MAY:

  • Te Tana oa nui hoe
    This is another open sea va'a race (vaka in Marquesan) Te Tana oa nui hoe promises to be a spectacular and a very physically demanding race.
  • Gotcha Tahiti Pro ~ Tahiti
    International surf contest WCT (World Competition Tour) to be held on the west side of Tahiti, in Teahupoo.
  • " Me " Ceremony ~ Austral Islands
    A large annual Protestant religious festival in the Austral Islands
  • Commemoration of the arrival of the Bounty ~ Austral Islands
    On Tubuai, Austral Islands 

JUNE:

  • Tahiti Offshore Cup ~ In the Leeward Islands
  • Horeu Surfing Competition ~ Tahiti
  • Autonomy Celebration ~ Tahiti and Her Islands
  • Pacific Archery Cup ~ On Tahiti 

JULY:

  • Heiva
    Arts and Craft
  • Cultural Heiva
    Culture, arts & crafts, sports and agriculture from the whole of Tahiti and Her Islands all assembled for the fantastic Heiva 

AUGUST:

  • Te Ora E Te Mana
    Historical reconstitution at the Marae Arahurahu in Paea / Tahiti 

SEPTEMBER:

  • World Tourism Day
    Culinary and artisanal demonstrations, local sports competitions, entertainment to be held at the Arahurahu Marae in the district of Paea in Tahiti
  • Raiatea Carnival
  • Pacific Archery Cup 

OCTOBER:

  • Tahiti Carnival
    Avery colourful affair with around 15,000 participants.  The Parade takes place on the Papeete waterfront.
  • Hawaikinui Va’a
    The Va’a inter-island outrigger canoe race presents its 12th edition with more than 100 canoes 

NOVEMBER:

  • Raiatea Quadrathlon 

DECEMBER:

  • The Tiare Days ~ Tahiti
  • Celebrations of Christmas and St Sylvester’s Day
